Contemporary Ghanaian Gospel Artiste, Calvis Hammond, released his much anticipated third single, ‘God is Able’ on Tuesday 28th November 2017. This comes on the heels of the launch of his second single, ‘Ma Jie Oyi’, at the Calvis Hammond Live Concert in September 2017.
The song ‘God is Able’, is another uplifting tune delivered from the camp of Calvis Hammond. Written and composed by Kofi Dua Anto (KODA) and Calvis Hammond, the song features Luigi Maclean of Love Gift, from the camp of Joe Mettle and Curtis Quarcoo of Flo’Riva, from the camp of Cwesi Oteng on lead vocals.
God Is Able is one of the songs on his upcoming album project which also promises to be nothing less than stellar.
God is Able is a song that reassures us of God’s ability to do the impossible. It is a testimony of His hand at work in our lives. The inspiring lyrics of this soulful R&B melody will stir up one’s hope and faith in the Lord.
The message of the song is summed up in these lines
“If it seems impossible He’ll do it
If there be a need He will supply
If there be a question He will answer
God is able, He is able
So don’t give up just hold on
God will step in right on time
God is able, He is able”
The online release of the song was very well received, which sparked a series of #GodIsAble hashtags and accompanying testimonies of God’s able hand on social media.
